First of all, it is important to remember what we are trying to accomplish here. We want people to give us their name and email so we can present them offers of products, services, and information. The best way to build a lead capture page is to offer them something of value. Usually in the way of ebooks but can be anything, use your imagination. Once you offer them something that they just can’t refuse, offer them something else as well.
Make sure that the freebies you are offering the opt-ins are the first thing they see. Put them right in front and center. Let them know the value of the freebies and of all the information you will be giving them.
Also, you really want to personalize your capture page. Use your own genuine words. Maybe even leave a picture of yourself somewhere on the page. The more you personalize it, the more the customer will trust that you are a genuine person here to help them out.
Keep it simple. All you want to do is capture the persons attention and get them to give up their email in exchange for the freebies. If you build a lead capture page that is too complex, they will not read it and close the page without even seeing what you have to offer.
These tips will really help with the conversion of sign ups. Remember that once you get enough people in your opt-in list, not only can you make money from mailing your list from time to time, but you can also make money by selling advertising and solo
